BREAKING: Aguirre confirmed as Egypt next national team manager

maxbet Mexican coach Javier Aguirre will be announced soon be announced as the next Egypt national team manager. “We agreed on all the contract details with Aguirre and he will be presented on Thursday afternoon as the new national team manager at a press conference where we will unveil all the details,” Egyptian Football Association President, Hany Abo Rida, told Filgoal on Wednesday.

Aguirre was one of the main contenders for the position alongside Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodžić, Colombian Jorge maxbet Luis Pinto, and the Spanish Quique Sánchez Flores. “I am so happy; it is a great step for me to be Egypt manager. I followed their run at the World Cup in Russia and I know them well and the players especially Mohamed Salah and Mohamed Elneny,” Aguirre told the press after he reached an agreement with Egypt’s football governing body.

Aguirre, 59, is one of the most experienced managers on club and international levels; he led his nation, Mexico, to win CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2009. Egypt had a disastrous run at the competition, losing their three games at the group stage.

Egypt started their maxbet participation against Uruguay where they lost 1-0 thanks to a late goal from Uruguayan defender, José Giménez. Egypt also lost the second game 3-1 to the host nation, Russia, with Mohamed Salah scoring Egypt’s only goal at the game. Egypt lost 2-1 at the Arab derby against Saudi Arabia despite leading the score by a goal from Mohamed Salah.
